Laboratory Testing

Verify whether your hygiene controls are working.

Cleaning schedules and sanitation SOPs are intentions; environmental monitoring is the evidence. Timor Labs designs and tests swabbing programs that show whether hygiene controls are actually working — and helps you respond when they are not.

Services

  • Surface swabbing of food-contact areas
  • Equipment swabbing after cleaning
  • Selected non-food-contact area checks
  • Process-water checks
  • Air-settle plates where appropriate
  • Hygiene zoning support
  • Sampling-location plans
  • Trend review across monitoring rounds
  • Corrective-action follow-up

Monitoring is not the same as product testing

Product testing asks whether a batch is acceptable. Environmental monitoring asks whether the facility is under control. Cleaning verification checks whether a specific cleaning event worked; process validation demonstrates that a process consistently achieves its intended control.

Each answers a different question, and confusing them leads to wrong conclusions. We help you choose the right tool for the decision at hand.

How a program works

A typical program moves from facility zones to a sampling plan, then to scheduled collection, laboratory testing, trend analysis and corrective action where needed. Results are reviewed over time — a single swab is a data point, but a trend is a management tool.

Environmental monitoring reduces and detects risk; it cannot guarantee the absence of contamination. Programs are designed around your facility, products and risk profile.
